We're preparing to launch a mobile app and need a designer who can turn the product into compelling demo videos and a full launch content kit. This is product storytelling, not generic editing. You'll take real app screens and flows and make them clear, polished, and conversion-ready across video and static formats.
What you'll create
- App demo videos: a full onboarding walkthrough (3 to 5 min) and a user journey walkthrough (2 to 3 min)
- App Store and Google Play preview videos in store-compliant formats
- Short-form explainer videos, 15 to 30 seconds each, each covering a single feature
- Launch and campaign video assets
- Static brand graphics: illustrated step-by-step guides, Instagram and Facebook templates, QR-code graphics, promotional graphics, launch announcement assets
- You are responsible for capturing or assembling clean screen recordings, sequencing the flow, and producing the final visuals.
Required
- A portfolio that includes app or SaaS product demo videos. This is the primary filter. If your reel is mostly weddings, events, or YouTube edits, this likely isn't the right fit.
- Strong motion graphics: UI callouts, transitions, kinetic typography (After Effects or equivalent)
- Video editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
- Ability to pull and work with UI assets from Figma
- Static and brand design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) for the social and promotional graphics
- Working English, good enough to handle revision cycles cleanly
- Reliable on deadlines and able to take a script and storyboard and run with it
Nice to have
- Basic voiceover cleanup and audio syncing, or comfort working with AI-generated voiceover tools
- Experience designing for App Store and Google Play listing requirements
- Prior work on a product launch
Application Question(s):
- Send your portfolio with direct links to any app or software demo work, and a short note on your role in those projects and your tools
