About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Motion Graphics & Video Editor to join our [e.g., Marketing, Creative, Content] team. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller with a keen eye for detail, capable of transforming raw footage and static designs into compelling visual narratives. This role requires a strong blend of technical proficiency in video editing and artistic skill in motion graphics design.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing & Production:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality finished products for various platforms (e.g., social media, YouTube, TV commercials, internal corporate videos).
- Manage the entire video editing process, from reviewing raw footage to adding music, sound effects, dialogues, graphics, and special effects.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth, seamless flow of the video, maintaining brand consistency and meeting project objectives.
- Work with audio mixing, color correction, and color grading to enhance the overall quality of the video.
- Optimize and export video content for different formats and platforms, ensuring optimal quality and file size.
- Motion Graphics & Animation:
- Conceptualize, design, and create captivating 2D and 3D motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to be used in videos and other digital content.
- Develop and implement branded motion graphics, including intros, outros, lower thirds, and on-screen text animations.
- Create storyboards and mockups to visualize and communicate concepts before production.
- Collaboration & Workflow:
- Collaborate closely with the creative director, marketing team, content creators, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and creative vision.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Organize and maintain a clean and efficient asset library for video and graphic files.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, motion graphics techniques, and software advancements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio or showreel showcasing a diverse range of projects.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software:
- Adobe After Effects (for motion graphics and visual effects)
- Adobe Premiere Pro (for video editing)
- Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (for graphic design assets)

- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, compression, and file management.
