The Wag Factor is a professional dog walking company serving Mount Pleasant and nearby communities. Founded in 2015, we’ve had the privilege of caring for thousands of pets and building trusted relationships with local pet owners.

We’re a small, supportive team that takes pride in providing dependable care, excellent communication, and peace of mind to our clients. Our walkers are an important part of that mission.

The Role

We’re looking for reliable, animal-loving individuals to join our team as midday dog walkers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being outside, staying active, and working independently.

Your day will involve visiting clients’ homes, walking dogs in their neighborhoods, and making sure each pet receives safe, attentive care.

Average pay is around $21 per hour plus tips.

Schedule

Walkers must be available 3–5 weekdays between 10 AM and 4 PM.

The number of visits per day will vary depending on client schedules. The more availability you have during those hours, the more opportunities for walks.

Responsibilities

• Walk and care for dogs during scheduled visits
• Travel between client homes in your service area
• Communicate with clients and management about visits
• Provide reliable and consistent care for pets
• Work comfortably in various weather conditions

Requirements

• Live within or near our service areas
• Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Be dependable and able to commit to scheduled visits (pets rely on us showing up!)
• Communicate professionally with clients and management via phone, text, and email
• Provide professional references
• Pass a background check
• Complete online Pet First Aid training
