Job Description
Position Summary
The Move Coordinator manages all stages of household goods relocations, from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and high customer satisfaction. They serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the moving process.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Client Communication
– Serve as the single point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners; respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.

Move Planning & Execution
– Coordinate and monitor packing, transport, storage, customs clearance, and final delivery for all moves.
3.
Documentation & Compliance
– Prepare shipping instructions, customs documentation, and invoices; ensure compliance with company procedures and international relocation standards.
4.
Shipment Tracking
– Maintain up-to-date shipment statuses using internal and external systems; proactively communicate delays or changes.
5.
Issue Resolution
– Handle service disruptions, claims, and exceptions promptly and professionally.
6.
Financial Accuracy
– Work with vendors, Sales, Finance, and Billing to ensure accurate invoicing and collect prepayments from prepay customers before service delivery.
Skills
- Minimum 1 year of coordination experience in Moving, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (English required; French preferred).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Role-Specific Requirements
- Availability during the busy summer season is expected. Vacation is permitted but limited to one week during this period and must be coordinated with the team.
- The company encourages taking extended time off during the less busy winter season.
