Mover/ Driver

Village Pack and Ship Movers is a family-owned and operated company serving our community since 1997. Due to continued growth, we are hiring dependable Movers and Non-CDL Drivers to join our expanding moving and freight division.

We handle local and out-of-state residential moves, household goods transportation, and freight services. If you are hardworking, reliable, and take pride in delivering a professional moving experience, we want to hear from you.

This is a hands-on, physically active position with opportunity for growth into leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, wrap, and transport furniture and household goods
• Prepare and secure items to prevent damage
• Pack trucks efficiently and safely
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed
• Safely operate truck and trailer along with a 20–26 ft box trucks (Driver role)
• Lead crews and manage job sites professionally (Lead/Driver role)
• Provide excellent customer service during local and long-distance moves
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Assist with freight pickups and deliveries

Qualifications

For Movers:

• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly
• Comfortable with stairs, long carries, and physically demanding work
• Positive attitude and team mindset
• Starting pay is based on experience range is $16 - $18.

For Non-CDL Drivers / Lead Movers:

• Box truck driving experience REQUIRED
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (must present at interview)
• Prior moving experience preferred
• Leadership skills and ability to manage a crew
• Starting pay is based on experience range is $20 - $23.
