Mover/Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Mover/Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading furniture, equipment, and other items while providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure smooth moves and satisfied clients. Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission to transport items to various locations.
• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Assist customers with moving items in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met with a friendly attitude.
• Follow designated routes accurately while maintaining timely delivery schedules.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure safety on the road.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure optimal condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of deliveries, pickups, and route logs for accountability and efficiency.

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving or moving services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge of route driving, including navigation skills and familiarity with local roads.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with clients.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
