Mover/Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Lead to join our team. This role involves transporting goods and assisting with moving operations, ensuring that items are delivered safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making them a vital part of our logistics team.

Duties

• Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving of various items, including furniture and equipment.
• Utilize warehouse equipment such as dollies for efficient movement of goods.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading area.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job.

Skills

• Experience in heavy lifting and moving is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial driving or as a van driver is advantageous.
• Knowledge of courier services and delivery procedures is a plus.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
