Responsibilities

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
• Use power tools and machinery like excavators for landscape construction or hardscape installation projects
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal while ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to promote optimal plant health
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge with experience handling lawn care equipment and power tools
• Proven lawn care and landscape maintenance skills with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators safely and effectively
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and gardening practices
• Experience in tree care activities like trimming or pruning is a plus
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and general garden maintenance
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards in outdoor environments
