Mower/Landscaper

Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Mower/Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your skill and enthusiasm! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns, gardens, and landscapes through expert mowing, trimming, planting, and landscape maintenance. Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment to perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning tasks efficiently.
• Maintain and repair landscaping tools and machinery such as excavators and other heavy equipment used in landscape construction or hardscape projects.
• Perform landscape maintenance including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing irrigation systems to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and sometimes removal using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Implement hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
• Support gardening tasks like soil preparation, fertilization, watering schedules, and pest control to promote lush greenery.
• Drive a truck with a trailer

Experience

• Prior experience with lawn care or landscaping is highly desirable; familiarity with landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is essential for safe operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to plant health and landscape design enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Experience with tree care activities such as trimming or pruning helps ensure safety and proper growth management.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery like excavators or other construction equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems installation and maintenance contributes to comprehensive landscape care.
• Previous work in snow plowing or winter maintenance demonstrates versatility in seasonal responsibilities.
