Mower/Landscaper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mower to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for lawn care and landscape maintenance, with a strong understanding of various gardening techniques and equipment. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces through effective mowing, trimming, and general upkeep of lawns and gardens. A typical work week involves 3 days of mowing and 2 days of landscape enhancement projects ranging from weeding and garden care to landscape installations.

Duties

• Operate mowers and other lawn care equipment to maintain grass at appropriate lengths.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, and blowing debris from walkways and driveways.
• Utilize hand tools for garden care, ensuring plants are healthy and well-maintained.
• Assist in hardscape projects such as patios or walkways, ensuring proper installation and upkeep.
• Assist in spring and fall cleanups of lawns and gardens.
• Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after use.

Requirements

• Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand/ power tools and mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is essential.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.
• A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites. Experience operating pickup trucks towing trailers is preferred.
• Knowledge of property maintenance practices and lawn care equipment required.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
