Key Responsibilities

  • Record Management:Registering, organizing, filing, and retrieving patient medical records, charts, and reports.
  • Data Accuracy & Completeness:Ensuring all patient information, paperwork, and reports are accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner.
  • Confidentiality & Security:Protecting patient information by adhering to hospital procedures and legal/ethical standards, such as HIPAA.
  • Audits & Compliance:Assisting with internal and external departmental audits, investigations, and inspections by providing necessary documentation.
  • Coordination:Liaising with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments to ensure timely updates and the proper flow of medical records.
  • Data Entry:Inputting patient data into electronic health record systems and managing updates and corrections as needed.
