- Managing Medical Records: Overseeing the collection, organization, storage, and retrieval of medical records to ensure accuracy and confidence in the data.
- Implementing Policies and Procedures: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, following to DOH Rules and Procedures.
- Data Management: Maintaining electronic medical records (EMR) databases, analyzing electronic data, and improving usability.
- Patient Communication: Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing electronic data to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Data Security: Ensuring the security and confidentiality of patient information.
- Audit Support: Assisting in healthcare audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with healthcare policies and privacy regulations.
