MS Power Platform - Technical Consultant

Role Description

DXC Technology Egypt is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Power Platform Technical Consultant with proven experience in automation . As a member of our dynamic team in Egypt, you will deliver innovative solutions across local and regional clients, enabling digital transformation through low-code platforms. This role involves architecting and implementing Power Platform solutions that interact with Dynamics 365, retail systems, and external APIs—focused on driving efficiency in customer operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with security and governance standards
  • Design and develop enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components:
    • Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
    • Power Automate (Cloud Flows & RPA Desktop Flows)
    • Power Pages
    • AI Builder & Copilot Studio
  • Integrate Power Platform apps with POS systems and Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail via:
    • Dataverse
    • Custom Connectors
    • REST APIs / OData
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver technical solution designs and documentation
  • Configure environment strategy, ALM pipelines, and security roles using best practices for governance and maintainability
  • Automate retail operations such as stock reconciliations, sales reporting, loyalty workflows, and customer service alerts
  • Support integration with retail peripherals and POS add-ons (barcode scanners, printers, card readers) where applicable
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments and provide Level 2/3 support post-deployment
  • Stay updated with Microsoft’s roadmap and local market needs to continually innovate client offerings
Desired Skills And Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, Pages, AI Builder, RPA)
  • Practical experience integrating POS systems and retail data into Power Platform and Dynamics 365 environments is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Dataverse data modelling and security
    • API integrations
    • Power Apps component framework (PCF) is a plus
  • Experience with solution architecture design and enforcing Power Platform governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy secure and scalable Power Pages portals for B2B or B2C usage
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions) to complement Power Platform integrations
  • Strong understanding of POS systems and retail operations within the Egyptian or MENA market
  • Comfortable working with cross-border teams and engaging with regional clients in English and Arabic.
Nice To Have Skills

  • Microsoft Certifications (PL-400, PL-600, PL-900)
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) or LS Retail POS platforms
  • Power BI development skills for retail dashboards and insights
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines and ALM for Power Platform

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with remote/global teams
  • Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to stay updated with new technologies
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment
