Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and academic success.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Supervise children during structured activities, free play, snack time, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects diverse backgrounds and encourages teamwork among students.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure child safety.
- Background in early childhood education or childhood development enhances your ability to meet developmental milestones.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment that encourages learning and growth.

- Love for Children and Teaching: Above all, an MSA teacher should genuinely love working with young children/school age children and have a passion for teaching. Show enthusiasm, warmth, and dedication to creating a positive learning environment for every child.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children.
- Need to be capable of lifting at least 25 pounds.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the students and the classroom environment.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and child development principles.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with students, parents, and other team members.
- CPR and First Aid Certified
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
