Stanbridge University seeks a Site Coordinator to oversee the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) Program at the Los Angeles campus. The Site Coordinator collaborates closely with the Program Director based at the Irvine campus and serves as the on-site academic and operational lead.
This position is a full-time core faculty role responsible for supporting program delivery, faculty development, student success, and regulatory compliance. The Site Coordinator ensures consistent implementation of the MSOT program across campuses and contributes to continuous program improvement.
Essential Functions
Program Leadership & Operations
Oversee daily operations of the MSOT program at the Los Angeles campus
Ensure consistent implementation of curriculum, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Program Director
Support program planning, coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives
Compliance & Accreditation
Assist in maintaining compliance with ACOTE, federal, state, and institutional requirements
Support preparation and submission of accreditation and regulatory reports, including AASC requests, annual reports, self-study documentation, and reaccreditation materials
Ensure program activities and documentation meet accreditation and institutional standards
Faculty Leadership & Development
Assist with faculty recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and development
Provide in-service training and professional development opportunities for instructional staff
Support faculty evaluation, performance management, and instructional effectiveness
Address faculty concerns and assist in resolving instructional or operational issues
Instruction & Student Engagement
Provide classroom and/or laboratory instruction as assigned
Deliver lectures, evaluate student work, and maintain academic records
Support student learning through mentorship, tutoring, and academic advising
Enforce university policies and academic standards
Student Success & Program Support
Support student recruitment in collaboration with admissions
Promote program retention and student progression
Provide academic advising and guidance to students
Curriculum & Program Development
Contribute to curriculum development, implementation, and continuous improvement
Support alignment of course delivery with program outcomes and accreditation standards
Participate in faculty meetings, graduation ceremonies, and institutional activities
External Relations & Professional Engagement
Maintain strong working relationships with clinical affiliates and fieldwork partners
Represent the university at professional and community activities
Maintain current knowledge through professional development, conferences, continuing education, and scholarly engagement
General Responsibilities
Perform all responsibilities in accordance with state and federal regulations and university policies and procedures
Provide excellent service to students, faculty, staff, and external partners
Qualifications
Required
Terminal degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field (e.g., OTD, PhD, EdD) from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in occupational therapy, including clinical practice, administration, and scholarship experience
Working knowledge of ACOTE Standards and Interpretive Guide
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and advising skills
Experience in educational theory and methodology, instructional design, student evaluation, and outcomes assessment
Preferred
Experience in an academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level
Experience mentoring faculty and supporting instructional effectiveness
Experience contributing to curriculum development and program assessment initiatives
