MSP Dispatcher / Technical Assistant (IN-PERSON)

Overview

We are seeking a organized and communicative MSP Dispatcher who can also assist with light technical work and support our technicians in day‑to‑day operations. This is an in‑person position at our office, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is comfortable juggling both coordination and hands‑on tasks. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in the technology field who wants to gain real-world experience in a fast‑paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Triage, prioritize, and schedule service tickets based on urgency, skillset, and technician availability
  • Monitor ticket progress, follow up with clients, and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Assist technicians with preparation, documentation, and light technical tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, client communications, and scheduling updates
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding ticket status, expectations, and next steps
  • Help maintain organization within the office, including equipment staging and workflow processes

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of common IT concepts (networks, workstations, software troubleshooting)
  • Positive attitude, customer‑focused mindset, and willingness to support the team wherever needed
  • Ability to work on‑site full time—this is not a remote or hybrid position

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
