Role Description

We're looking for a hands on specialist to own the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) server stack and Centroid Bridge environment end to end. This is a full time role, located in Dubai, U.A.E. You'll manage platform uptime, performance, liquidity routing, risk parameters, and integrations, while partnering with trading, compliance, and support to keep client execution fast, accurate, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

MT5 Platform Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain MT5 server, access servers, gateways, and backup instances.
• Manage MT5 Manager/Administrator tasks: groups, symbols, margin settings, swaps, markups, commissions, corporate actions, and trading sessions.
• Oversee plugins (risk, reporting, A book/B book), journaling, log rotation, and resource utilization.

Bridge & Liquidity (Centroid)

• Own Centroid Bridge configuration: LP connections, routing rules, symbol mapping, markups, aggregation, failover, and FIX/API parameters.
• Monitor spreads, rejects, slippage, last look, and execution quality; tune routing and risk controls.
• Coordinate with LPs on connectivity, pricing, and credit/limits; handle bridge updates and rollbacks.

Risk, Monitoring & Reliability

• Implement health checks, alerting (latency, drops, stale prices), and 24/5 incident response with clear runbooks.
• Support A/B book logic, exposure caps, and auto hedging triggers in line with risk policy.
• Plan capacity, HA/DR, backups, and disaster recovery drills.

Integration & Automation

• Integrate with CRM/KYC, payment gateways, client portals, and reporting tools via APIs/FIX.
• Script routine ops (e.g., user provisioning, symbol updates, log parsing) with PowerShell/Python.
• Partner with Support on escalations; produce post incident reviews and platform release notes.

Security & Compliance

• Enforce access control, secrets management, patching, and audit trails.
• Align configurations with applicable policies/standards; support regulatory and internal audits.

Qualifications:

• 3-6+ years administering MT5 in a brokerage/prop/trading environment.
• Deep, practical experience with Centroid Bridge (routing, LP setup, symbol mapping, markups, risk).
• Strong understanding of FX/CFD instruments, margin/collateral, corporate actions, trading sessions, and execution flows.
• Proven experience with FIX connectivity, LPs, and price/market data feeds.
• Comfortable with Windows Server, networking (DNS, TCP/UDP, firewalls, VPN), and performance troubleshooting.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell and/or Python) for automation and tooling.
• Experience running platforms in 24/5 markets with on call rotation.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure and virtualization (VMware/Hyper V).
• Knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar monitoring/logging stacks.
• Familiarity with additional bridges (oneZero, PrimeXM, etc.).
• Experience with data governance, BI/reporting, or RegTech tooling.
• Basic Linux skills and CI/ CD for internal tools.
• Ownership mindset with bias to action and clear communication under pressure.
• Ability to translate trading/risk requirements into robust technical configs.
• Collaborative across Trading, Risk, Compliance, and Support.
