This position is central to the missionaries' role to 'Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.' This is a support, entry level individual contributor that creates user-friendly data visualization reports in Tableau, maintains existing reports, and works with report users. This incumbent also prepares data for use in reports using primarily Qualtrics and SQL, collaborates with others to gather and rate assessments, and works with international MTCs in Spanish.
Responsibilities
Reports to manager level in Research & Evaluation department
- Collaborates with others, including international MTCs, to gather data, rate assessments and train.
- Designs and develops meaningful and accurate visualizations that will support and inform the work of the end users.
- Maintains currently developed visualizations and troubleshoot any issues.
- Manages data visualization software – including access rights and data update/refresh schedule
- Assists in designing data integration needs and processes from sources
- Assists with other projects, as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Some experience and ability to learn and use data integration tools (e.g., SQL) and visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and present information in Spanish and English
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage several projects at once
- Interpersonal skills
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using monitors/equipment.
Preferred:
- Basic proficiency in R or other statistical software
- 2 years experience in data visualization
