MTO – Electrical Engineer (Procurement)

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Electrical Engineer (Procurement) to join our team. The selected candidate will support procurement operations related to electrical engineering projects, including sourcing electrical materials, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring efficient procurement processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)

Experience:

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement or electrical/construction-related roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing electrical materials such as cables, transformers, switchgear, panels, lighting systems, and other electrical components
• Prepare and process purchase orders, and track deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to maintain strong relationships and resolve any procurement-related issues
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support reporting and documentation
• Evaluate supplier performance and assist in vendor selection processes
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality standards
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
• Support daily operations of the procurement department, particularly for electrical engineering projects

Requirements:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Basic understanding of electrical materials and procurement practices
• Ability to analyze data and support decision-making
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with procurement systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
