Job Description:
The MTO (Merchandiser) assists in managing buyer orders, coordinating production timelines, sourcing materials, and ensuring product quality standards in leather goods manufacturing (bags, wallets, belts, jackets, etc.).
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate with buyers regarding product specifications, pricing, sampling, and order confirmations.
- Coordinate with production, quality control, and sourcing teams to ensure on-time order execution.
- Develop and follow up on product samples according to buyer requirements.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
- Calculate product costing including leather, accessories, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and factory requirements.
- Prepare order sheets, production status reports, and shipment documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in merchandising (leather/garments preferred).
- Understanding of leather products and production processes is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
- Basic understanding of costing and supply chain coordination.
