MTO - Washing Department

Responsibilities

1. Process Understanding & Learning

• Learn all wet and dry washing processes including desizing, enzyme wash, stone wash, bleaching, over-dyeing, tinting, etc.
• Assist in understanding process flow for denim finishing.
• Learn recipe formulation and washing machine parameter settings.

2. Production Support

• Support daily washing production activities under supervisor guidance.
• Monitor washing machines, load planning, process timing, and chemical usage.
• Maintain WIP records and ensure proper documentation for each lot/batch.

3. Quality & Compliance

• Inspect garments before and after washing for shade, hand-feel, appearance, and defects.
• Coordinate with QC for inline & final approvals.
• Ensure processes follow environmental and sustainability standards.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with R&D for pilot washes and sampling.
• Support Merchandising team regarding wash standards and customer requirements.
• Communicate daily progress to the line manager.

5. Data & Reporting

• Maintain production logs, shade bands, recipes, and chemical inventory data.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly washing performance reports.

Required Qualifications

• BS Textile Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
• Fresh graduates or up to 1 year experience
• Understanding of denim fabrics is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of denim washing processes (preferred)
• Good communication & coordination skills
• Willingness to work in production floor environment
• MS Excel skills for reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
