Role Description

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in our Istanbul office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law or related field from a well-reputed university;
  • At least educated to a Bachelor level (preferably in Business Administration/Economics/Finance);
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in accounting or finance role (experience in a law firm or professional services is a plus);
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting software;
  • Effective multitasking abilities, team player with a desire to learn and grow;
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with invoice processing, payment tracking, and expense reporting - Assists in monitoring daily bank accounts, preparing domestic/international payment lists and making payments.
  • Support month-end reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors on billing matters.
  • Ensure compliance with financial procedures and local regulations. Ensuring the tracking, recording, and systematic organization of incoming/outgoing documents, invoices, and all related documentation.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.
