Multi Discipline Engineer (Oil & Gas)

We are seeking to hire a large number of highly qualified Senior Technical Personnel for the Qatar Energy LNG Project, to be based in Sohar, Oman. Candidates must have strong offshore experience and relevant international certifications.

1. Senior NDT Inspector

• Level III – RT, PT, MT & PAUT

1. Senior Preservation & Material Inspector

• TPI / Inspector Quality Control qualification
• Experience in piping, structural, E&I bulks, cables, packaged items, and other offshore topside materials

1. Senior Piping & Welding Inspector
2. Senior Dimensional Control Inspector
3. Senior Coating & Insulation Inspector
4. Senior Mechanical Inspector
5. Senior HVAC Inspector
6. Senior E&I Inspector

Technical Qualifications:

• CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2
• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
• BG / ERS Certifications
• PCN, ERS, or ASNT certifications for:
• UT (Ultrasonic Testing)
• MT (Magnetic Particle Testing)
• RT (Radiographic Testing)
• PT (Penetrant Testing)
• Advanced NDT methods:
• PAUT – Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing
• TOFD – Time of Flight Diffraction

Code & Standards Knowledge:

Candidates must demonstrate strong competency in relevant industry codes and standards, including but not limited to:

• ASME Section V
• ASME Section VIII
• ASME Section IX
• ASME / ANSI B31.3
• ASME / ANSI B31.4
• ASME / ANSI B31.8
• ASME / API 1104
• AWS D1.1
• API RP 2X
• NACE Standards
• Other applicable industry codes as required by the scope of work

Project Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in offshore topside projects, including fabrication, inspection, testing, and material handling
• Experience on QatarEnergy LNG (formerly Qatargas) projects will be a strong advantage

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Engineering Degree in the relevant discipline
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated expertise in inspection of materials, welding technologies, testing methods, and certifications related to offshore topside structures
• Candidates are requested to highlight any prior QatarEnergy LNG experience and relevant offshore topside exposure
