Multi-Skilled Sr Tech

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, manage, and motivate a high-performing technical team during the assigned shift to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards.

Responsible for the operational management of the technical staff, and the operation, maintenance, and technical services during the shift, including but not limited to:

Execution of preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.

Technical troubleshooting and resolution of operational issues.

Ensuring the continuous availability and efficiency of critical equipment and systems.

Supervision of service requests and work orders.

Coordination with other shifts and departments for seamless handover and continuity.

Inspection and monitoring of equipment performance.

Support the Contract Manager to ensure services provided by CBRE and client supply chain are delivered to the highest levels and managed against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Maintain a close relationship with client representatives, ensuring partnership and that expectations are met and exceeded during the shift.

Provide daily/weekly reports for all activities completed onsite during the shift, including but not limited to team updates, operational performance, incident reports, and maintenance status.

Ensure that all matters that may impact the smooth running of the facility and its technical systems are immediately reported and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of tickets and jobs.

Ensure a 5-star customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with all stakeholders.

Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows to ensure continuous best practice, quality improvement, and efficiencies are implemented within technical operations.

Ensure all staff communication related to technical operations and incidents is issued to building user groups in a timely manner.

Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions which comply with both client and CBRE’s Health & Safety policy, actively promoting safe working practices within the team.

Embrace CBRE and client values and ways of working by providing an example for all team members.

Must be operationally hands-on to assist the wider team during peak periods and work flexible hours from time to time.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Delivery of services shall be in line with the strategy set by the client and the Facilities Management Main Contact.

Establish standard procedures for potential scenarios or problems during the shift, including incident response.

Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints in a prompt, customer-focused manner.

Ability to effectively present technical information to internal departments and/or large groups of employees and stakeholders.

Passionate about safety and ability to implement safe working measures and protocols.

Proven experience in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Building Automation Systems, or General Maintenance) with a strong understanding of facility infrastructure.

Previous experience in a team leadership or supervisory role is required.

Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are highly desirable.

In addition to all above, other duties may be assigned by the line manager. What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

The minimum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $65,000 annually, and the maximum salary for the HVAC Engineer position is $95,680 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
