Multi Skilled Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with strong experience in Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, along with joinery and painting skills. The role is site-based and focused on physically carrying out maintenance, repair, and renovation works across high-end residential villas and commercial properties.

The candidate must be capable of independently identifying problems, troubleshooting on site, and fixing issues directly, especially in renovation projects where quick, practical solutions are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC Works (Hands-On)

• Carry out day-to-day electrical works (fault finding, socket/light replacement, wiring repairs, minor DB works)
• Perform plumbing repairs (leak detection, pipe repairs, sanitary fittings, pumps, water heaters, drainage issues)
• Attend to HVAC maintenance and repairs (AC units, FCUs, thermostats, duct issues, basic troubleshooting)
• Respond to breakdowns and urgent maintenance issues

Renovation, Joinery & Finishing Works

• Execute minor joinery and carpentry works (doors, cabinets, hinges, adjustments, repairs)
• Carry out painting works, patch repairs, touch-ups, and surface finishing
• Support renovation activities and ensure works are completed neatly and to a high standard

Problem Identification & Troubleshooting

• Identify problems on site, assess root causes, and implement practical solutions
• Suggest repair methods, replacement options, and material requirements
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Drawings & Technical Understanding

• Read and understand MEP and architectural drawings related to renovation and maintenance works
• Follow layouts, details, and installation drawings during execution
• Identify mismatches between drawings and site conditions

Inspection, Quality & Approval Support

• Inspect maintenance and renovation works carried out by others when required
• Ensure workmanship quality meets required standards
• Verify completion of works before handover

Materials & Quantity Take-Offs

• Good working knowledge of materials, fittings, and components
• Take material quantity take-offs for maintenance and renovation works
• Assist in material requests, replacements, and proper usage on site

Safety & Site Discipline

• Follow HSE and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition

Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on experience in Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC
• Practical joinery and painting skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Physically fit and capable of on-site works
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE
• Experience in residential and commercial buildings, including luxury villas
• Strong background in renovation and maintenance works
• Pervious worked in contracting or maintenance firms
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Knowledge of materials, fittings, and site tools
• Technical diploma or degree
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
