Multi Technician cum Electrician

A Multi Technician cum Electrician installs, maintains, and repairs various building systems, focusing on electrical work while also performing tasks related to plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance. This role requires strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work from technical drawings, and adherence to safety regulations. • Electrical duties: Install, maintain, and repair wiring, control systems, lighting, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• General maintenance: Perform a range of repair and installation tasks across multiple trades, such as plumbing, painting, and HVAC systems.
• System troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues using various testing devices.
• Preventive maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and perform scheduled maintenance to prevent future problems.
• Documentation: Complete service reports and update work orders, often using digital systems.
• Safety compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications and skills

• Experience: Several years of experience in maintenance and repair, with a focus on electrical systems.
• Technical knowledge: Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as an EPA certification for HVAC, are often preferred.
• Electrical skills: Experience with control panels, glanding, termination, earthing, cable trays, and wiring.
• HVAC knowledge: Understanding of package units, split systems, and troubleshooting air conditioning units is a plus.
