The Multi Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general civil works in residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate properties. The role ensures smooth facility operations, safety compliance, and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for MEP systems
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, HVAC units, pumps, motors, lighting, DBs, plumbing fixtures, drainage lines, and general carpentry or masonry tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergency repairs.
- Ensure all works are completed according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
Electrical Maintenance
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, control circuits, power systems, DB panels, and lighting systems.
- Replace faulty switchgear, breakers, sockets, luminaires, and control devices.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure electrical compliance.
Mechanical & HVAC Maintenance
- Carry out maintenance on HVAC equipment such as split units, package units
- Clean filters, coils, ducts, and mechanical components as required.
- Assist in repairing pumps, motors, valves, belts, bearings, and other mechanical systems.
Plumbing & Civil Works
- Repair leaks, blockages, sanitary fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems.
- Install and maintain faucets, mixers, flushing systems, water heaters, and pumps.
- Support to Perform minor civil—painting touch-ups, tile repair, wall patching, door hinges/locks, and basic masonry.
Facility Operations Support
- Conduct daily inspections of building facilities and common areas.
- Report faults and potential risks to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, material usage, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with vendors when required and support asset management.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to company HSE policies and ensure safe working practices.
- Use appropriate PPE and comply with real estate and building management standards.
- Report hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or relevant technical trade.
- Additional certification in multi-skilled maintenance is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, facility management, or real estate operations.
- Experience handling MEP systems in residential towers, commercial buildings, malls, or mixed-use developments.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of MEP and building systems.
- Ability to use tools, testing devices, and basic BMS systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and local regulations.
Soft Skills
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
