Multicraft Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical/Electrical)

We are seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support operations at a heavy industrial manufacturing facility producing OCTG steel pipe and solar torque tube products. This role is primarily mechanical (about 70%) with electrical troubleshooting responsibilities (about 30%).

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance technician who is comfortable troubleshooting equipment, working on mechanical systems, and supporting electrical issues to keep production running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Mechanical Maintenance (Primary Focus)
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment including motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and replace worn or damaged components
Maintain and repair mill and production equipment to minimize downtime
Assist with equipment installs, modifications, and plant improvements
Support maintenance on material handling systems including conveyors and rotating equipment

Electrical & Controls Support
Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems including 3-phase / 480V equipment
Diagnose issues with motor controls, VFDs, and control panels
Support troubleshooting of PLC/HMI systems (Allen-Bradley preferred) to identify faults and restore equipment operation
Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, and power distribution for plant equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

What You Bring
3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (motors, bearings, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics)
Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems (480V / 3-phase)
Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
Comfortable working in a physically active industrial environment
Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on safety and uptime

Preferred Experience
Welding or fabrication experience
Experience in mills, heavy manufacturing, foundry, or similar industrial environments
Experience supporting industrial production equipment
