Multimedia Coordinator (Hybrid)

The Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation is a non-profit organization that champions a collaborative campaign to permanently connect, protect and restore the Florida Wildlife Corridor – a state-wide network of lands and waters that supports wildlife and people.

About the Role:

The Multimedia Coordinator will play a key role in bringing our visual storytelling and communications to life. Reporting to the Creative Director, this position will be primarily focused on graphic design, with additional responsibilities in copywriting and multimedia content development.

This role supports a wide range of organizational initiatives, including rotating Wild Space Gallery exhibitions, fundraising campaigns, impact campaigns initiatives, and more. The ideal candidate is a highly creative, detail-oriented communicator who can translate ideas into compelling visual and written assets across multiple platforms.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Design visual assets for print and digital platforms, including exhibitions, campaigns, and social media
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director on campaign concepts and execution
  • Write and edit content for campaigns, email, and web
  • Support storytelling around mission, impact, and partners
  • Assist in the management and updating of WordPress website content (frontend)
  • Build and deploy email campaigns via Mailchimp
  • Capture/edit photography and maintain media library

Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in design, communications, or marketing
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work
  • Experience supporting campaigns, events, or gallery exhibitions preferred, with a strong preference for candidates who have designed for art galleries or similar creative/cultural spaces
  • Experience writing and editing content for marketing or communications
  • Ability to translate scientific or conservation topics into clear, engaging content
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • A keen eye for emerging trends in design, media, and storytelling and their application in the field of conservation
  • Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp (or similar), and social media platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Experience Preferred:

  • Photography experience and/or background in conservation or science communication

Educational/Certification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Educational/Certification Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Science Communication, Environmental Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Computer Program/Resource Requirements:

  • Proficient, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; Lightroom a plus)

Computer Program/Resource Preferred:

Physical/Driving Requirements:

  • Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs.

Travel Requirements:

  • Some travel to events or field locations around the state of Florida; no more than 10% total.

Language Requirements:

  • English proficiency for written and spoken.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
