Job Summary/Description:
WEAU in beautiful Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is hiring a dynamic, deadline-driven Multimedia Journalist who wants to make a difference. We are the dominant news organization in an active market with extensive weather and local coverage. We want journalists who are passionate about delivering viewer-focused stories and newscasts. You will join a collaborative newsroom that mentors, trains, and coaches you. We are dedicated to building and maintaining trust with our audiences by making sure we are always accurate, transparent, and without bias. This is currently a part-time position with the potential to become full-time.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
*This role requires working in all weather conditions, carrying equipment, driving to assignments, and adapting quickly to breaking news. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.*
