Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Multimedia Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality photography and content that engages customers and builds brand recognition. This position will provide support for the marketing & e-commerce divisions through a variety of channels including digital, print, web, and social content. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong content development, and organizational skills, who will thrive in a collaborative team environment, confidently receiving and executing creative direction.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute regular photoshoots to ensure brand imagery remains current and aligned with marketing needs.
- Maintain In-Store TV visuals that align with marketing needs such as sales, seasonal imagery and new products and brand call outs.
- Manage photography equipment, studio setup, lighting, and maintenance.
- Develop and write radio advertising scripts aligned with brand messaging and campaign objectives.
- Responsible for writing press releases & distributing them to corresponding news outlets.
- Capture imagery at all events Eagle Eye Outfitters conducts.
- Monitor performance of visual content and adjust creative direction to support engagement and conversion goals.
- Maintain and regularly update staff headshots.
- Execute multiple, simultaneous creative projects while staying on schedule.
- Collaborate with the E-Commerce team to execute and maintain website visuals, aligning lifestyle photography and content with established digital merchandising strategies and direction.
- Be familiar with professional software in Adobe Creative Suite and edit and retouch images for web, print & social use, ensuring color accuracy and brand alignment.
- Create and develop a variety of brand photography assets for a variety of uses including web, print, and social media.
- Manage online portal access for all our brand assets and develop/maintain a system where assets are neatly stored and easy to access.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in photography, graphic design, or marketing preferred but not required.
- 2 or more years of experience in photography, graphic design, or marketing preferred.
- Knowledge of how to shoot studio photography as well as “live action” photography.
- Advanced user of Adobe Suite Products: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom.
- Video experience a plus.
- Proven track record of establishing and meeting goals.
- Experience in the retail industry or particular interest in retail is considered a strong plus.
- Experience with the following a plus: Canva, Klavyio, Mailchimp, Basecamp, Later, Hootsuite.
Schedule Requirements
- While most of the responsibilities of this position will fall during normal weekday work hours, Eagle Eye Outfitters is a retail establishment that may require availability to work flexible shifts during seasonal peaks in traffic and special projects:
- 5 Day work weeks with primarily 8-9-hour shifts.
- Possibility of an occasional Saturday to meet marketing deadlines or in the event of a special event.
- Eagle Eye is closed every Sunday.
Other Computer/Technical Skills
- Excellent computer knowledge for both MAC and PC environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: OneDrive, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with the Following is a plus, but not required.
