Key Responsibilities

  • Curate and manage music libraries, playlists, and soundtracks tailored to specific event themes or client requirements.
  • Coordinate with DJs, live performers, and technical sound engineers to ensure seamless audio execution during live events.
  • Secure and manage music licensing, synchronization rights, and performance permissions in compliance with local regulations.
  • Monitor audio quality and technical setups, troubleshooting equipment issues in collaboration with the AV team.
  • Manage artist contracts, performance schedules, and logistical requirements for guest musicians.
  • Create and update cue sheets for televised or recorded productions to ensure accurate royalty reporting.
  • Research current musical trends and emerging artists to keep our entertainment offerings fresh and competitive.

Skills and Requirements

  • Musical Literacy: Strong knowledge of diverse genres, instrumentation, and the ability to read musical scores or cue sheets.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with audio software (Ableton, Pro Tools, or Logic Pro) and music management platforms.
  • Licensing Expertise: Understanding of copyright laws, mechanical rights, and performance licensing within the MENA region.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple deadlines and coordinate diverse teams under high-pressure event conditions.
  • Communication: Professional fluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly valued for local vendor and talent coordination.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in music coordination, radio programming, event production, or a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Sound Engineering, Arts Administration, or a related field.
