Music Program Coordinator

Position Overview
Adelaide Chamber Singers LLC is seeking a highly organized and musically knowledgeable Music Program Coordinator to support the planning, development, and execution of its choral and educational programs in Doha. This role is central to ensuring smooth coordination between artistic leadership, singers, guest artists, and external partners while maintaining the organization’s high artistic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate rehearsal schedules, performances, and special events in collaboration with the Artistic Director
- Manage music library resources, including acquisition, cataloging, and distribution of scores
- Serve as the primary liaison between singers, accompanists, and guest musicians
- Assist in program planning, including repertoire research and concert logistics
- Oversee administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, communications, and documentation
- Support event production, including venue coordination, staging needs, and technical requirements
- Maintain accurate records of programming, licensing, and permissions
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote concerts and outreach programs
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and cultural considerations within Qatar
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Arts Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Strong background in choral or vocal music, with the ability to read scores
- Proven experience in program coordination, arts administration, or event management
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and music notation or library software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with professional or semi-professional ensembles
- Familiarity with international and multicultural music environments
- Basic conducting or vocal coaching experience is a plus
Working Conditions
- Based in Doha, Qatar
- Combination of office work, rehearsals, and live event settings
- Occasional travel or extended hours during performance periods
