Role Description

We are seeking a Social & Digital Media Intern to support the growth and development of MIXR’s digital presence. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, and brand development within an early-stage startup environment.

You will receive direct training and mentorship while actively contributing to the launch and growth of a platform designed to impact the music industry.

• Remote
• 5–10 hours per week on average
• Internship runs through August 1st
• Compensation consists of training + hands-on experience in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.2
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and the music or entertainment industry
• Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social trends
• Experience with Canva and other content creation tools required
• Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Microsoft Excel, or similar organizational and analytics platforms is a plus
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate content ideas and execute them
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience managing a social account or creating content is a plus

• Availability to support occasional remote activations or events, if applicable
