Duties

• Design and implement engaging music curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements like theory, instrument mastery, and performance techniques
• Deliver energetic and interactive lessons in areas such as singing, instrumental training, ballet, theater, or dance to cultivate students’ musical talents
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively by applying behavior management strategies and fostering a positive learning atmosphere
• Provide personalized tutoring sessions to support individual progress and address specific learning needs in areas like childhood development or early childhood education
• Organize and supervise student performances, recitals, or showcases to build confidence and celebrate achievements
• Incorporate creative activities such as photography or sewing into lessons to enhance artistic expression when appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development projects that integrate culinary arts or childcare topics into music education programs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching music or related arts within classroom settings or private tutoring environments
• Strong background in curriculum development across various disciplines including theater, ballet, dancing, or early childhood education
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate students of all ages and backgrounds
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for working with children and special education populations
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and preschool experience is highly desirable
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate diverse activities such as culinary experiences or sewing projects when applicable
• Passion for working with students of all ages and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
