ATEMPO Music is currently seeking passionate and reliable Violin and Piano Teachers to join our growing team in the Coral Spring , FL area. Our instructors travel to students’ homes to provide professional, engaging, and structured music lessons.

Duties

• Design and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements such as singing, instrument playing, and music theory
• Deliver dynamic lessons that motivate students and enhance their understanding of musical concepts across various genres and styles
• Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive space for all learners
• Provide personalized tutoring sessions to support individual student progress and address specific learning needs
• Incorporate creative activities like theater performances, dance (ballet and general dancing), and photography projects to enrich the musical experience
• Develop lesson plans that integrate childhood development principles, early childhood education strategies, and special education accommodations when necessary
• Organize performances, recitals, or showcases to celebrate student achievements and foster confidence in their musical abilities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in teaching music across diverse age groups, including preschool, elementary, or adult education settings
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to different learning styles
• Excellent classroom management skills to maintain discipline while encouraging creativity and participation
• Experience working with children, including childcare or preschool experience, is highly desirable
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles
• Skills in theater arts, dancing (ballet and general dancing), sewing, culinary arts, or photography are considered valuable supplementary talents
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with special educational needs or early childhood education requirements
• Passion for fostering a love of music while promoting overall childhood development and personal growth
