TEACHING POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR IN-PERSON LESSONS, ON-SITE LOCATION IN BURBANK, CA

Must have experience with teaching 3 years olds and special needs student.

2-5 Days per week

2 year commitment to working for the company

Nurturing-type PIANO and VOICE teachers wanted. Other instruments we offer are GUITAR, UKULELE, VIOLIN, DRUMS, BANJO, MANDOLIN, SAXOPHONE, FLUTE, CELLO & CLARINET, but you must be able to teach PIANO or VOICE to qualify. Position is only available as an In-Person job, in Burbank, CA.

PLEASE NOTE: Must be able to teach two or more instruments, one of them being PIANO, VOICE or GUITAR. Must love teaching and working with kids as young as 4 years old up through adults. Must have some experience working with special needs students as well.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Permanent Teacher: 2-5 days/week, including 1 weekend day. Looking for IN-PERSON teachers with capabilities to also teach virtually at times, when students can't come to their lesson in-person. In-Person teaching is required.

*Must be computer literate, be able to use Google Sheets, be able to record lesson videos and upload them to Youtube, as well as write assignments on Music Junction's software portal for students. Teachers are expected to respond promptly to emails and texts. *Teaching days/times are normally M-F between 2pm and 9pm PT, and Sat/Sun between 9am and 4pm PST. Can discuss weekday morning/early afternoon opportunities (9am-2pm PT).

Candidate Requirements: We are looking for candidates who can commit to a minimum of 2 years to the teaching position; Must have 2+ years of music teaching experience; a music degree is a plus; can commit to Regular Weekly Schedule; background check required; live locally; experience working w/kids required; experience teaching students as young as 3 years old and students with special needs is required; group teaching experience is a plus; must have reliable transportation to regularly be at work on time and ready to teach.

Salary: $25-30/hour of teaching for permanent teachers; based on experience. $16.50/hr compensation for any initial orientation hours, training and recital attendance. Additional compensation for semi-private and group lessons.
