Job Title: MY SQL Database Administrator

Location: Kolkata (near Green Line – Mahakaran Metro Station)

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA in a production environment.
• Proficiency in MySQL administration (configuration, tuning, replication, upgrades).
• Hands-on experience with Percona Server for MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of Ubuntu/Linux server administration.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Percona Monitoring and Management, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.
• Solid understanding of database security and user management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain MySQL databases in a high-availability environment.
• Design and implement MySQL replication (master-slave, master-master, GTID-based).
• Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.
• Optimise database performance and improve query efficiency.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams for application deployment and scalability.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance standards are met.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of other database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
