Overview
GIB - Tellapur is seeking a qualified and passionate Maths - PYP & MYP Teacher to deliver high-quality, inquiry-based instruction aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme. The teacher will support students in developing strong conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude toward Mathematics.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in alignment with the IB MYP framework.
Design, implement, and assess IB-compliant tasks and assessments.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Monitor and analyze student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.
Participate in school events, professional development programs, and IB training.
Uphold safeguarding policies and promote student well-being.
Model the IB Learner Profile and school values in daily practice.
Skills Description
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Teaching qualification (IB Trained Teachers Preferred).
Experience teaching Mathematics, preferably in an IB MYP or international school setting.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
