MySQL Support Engineer

Role Overview:
Advansys is hiring a MySQL Support Engineer to manage and optimize our clients’ MySQL environments. The role involves performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup management, and ensuring smooth database operation and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage MySQL installations, configurations, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot and resolve MySQL database issues in real-time.
Handle database backups, restores, and replication.
Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and indexes.
Ensure security hardening and version upgrades when required.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with MySQL administration and optimization.
Solid understanding of replication, partitioning, and HA setups.
Proficiency with SQL, Linux, and shell scripting.
Familiarity with MySQL monitoring and performance tools.
