Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look, offering professional advice on nail care, color choices, and maintenance tips.
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Stay current on the latest trends in nail design, techniques, and products to provide innovative services that delight clients.
• Upsell additional services such as hand and foot treatments, paraffin wax dips, or nail enhancements to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Build strong relationships through excellent customer service, ensuring clients leave feeling valued and eager to return.
• Manage retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and beauty accessories while demonstrating effective retail math skills for optimal sales performance.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of color theory to create harmonious and eye-catching nail designs.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients.
• Expertise in sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all clients.
• Formal training in cosmetology or esthetician licensing with specialization in nail care.
• Proficiency in advanced nail techniques such as gel application, acrylics, nail extensions, and intricate nail art.
• Familiarity with additional beauty treatments including eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair threading, and barbering is a plus.
• Ability to upsell effectively by recommending complementary products or services that enhance the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration; strong retail sales skills including retail math for achieving sales targets.
