Duties

• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
• Apply advanced techniques such as gel polish application, nail extensions (including hair extensions), and intricate nail designs based on client preferences
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments, colors, and styles aligned with current trends and color theory principles
• Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails
• Keep detailed records of services provided and inventory levels of products used

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care required
• Strong knowledge of color theory, current nail trends, and design techniques
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide exceptional customer service
• Experience with sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean workspace is essential
• Familiarity with hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, and barbering is a plus for cross-service opportunities
• Ability to perform esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or laser procedures is advantageous but not mandatory
• Retail sales experience including retail math skills to recommend products confidently and upsell effectively
• Passion for continuous learning about new nail techniques, tools, and industry innovations
