Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments and products
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Stay current on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and industry techniques to offer innovative services
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of workstations and tools throughout the day
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
• Proven experience in nail care services including gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment
• Familiarity with advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus
• Strong understanding of color theory to create visually appealing designs
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and listen attentively to client needs
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor
