Nail Technician

Job Summary

In this role, you will provide expert nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and intricate nail art, to help clients look and feel their best. Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail enhancements with precision and care
• Create custom nail designs using color theory principles to match client preferences and trends
• Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and sterilization to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering professional advice, and upselling additional treatments or retail products
• Stay current with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to deliver innovative services
• Assist with retail sales of nail care products, skincare items, and accessories to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue
• Support overall salon cleanliness and organization, ensuring all tools and workstations are sanitized after each use

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including gel application, acrylics, and cuticle treatments
• Familiarity with color theory for creating appealing nail art designs
• Experience with eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrated ability in retail sales and upselling to maximize client satisfaction and business growth
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining a safe working environment
