Nail Technician

Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Provide expert advice on nail care, color theory, and trending styles to meet client preferences
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Assist clients with selecting nail colors, designs, and enhancements that complement their personal style
• Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on new techniques like eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service experiences

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care or related fields
• Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation standards
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional recommendations
• Experience with advanced services such as acrylics, gel nails, nail art, or body waxing is preferred
• Ability to perform detailed work with steady hands while maintaining a friendly attitude
• Knowledge of retail math for effective upselling of products and services
• Familiarity with additional beauty services like hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, barbering or esthetic laser treatments is a plus

Pay: $986.82 - $1,188.43 per week
