Job Summary

Looking for a nail tech in the afternoons 4-6 days a week.

Duties

• Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs.
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are upheld.
• Use your knowledge of color theory to recommend complementary shades and designs that enhance each client’s personal style.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client preferences, offering expert advice, and upselling additional services or retail products.
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail art, techniques like nail extensions, and esthetic laser treatments to deliver innovative services.
• Assist clients with skin care treatments such as dermabrasion or body waxing when applicable.
• Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills to promote products that support overall wellness and beauty goals.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty therapy role with a strong portfolio of nail art and care techniques.
• Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required; additional training in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair styling, or barbering is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a safe salon environment.
• Familiarity with advanced treatments such as esthetic laser treatments or dermabrasion is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and build lasting relationships.
• Ability to upsell services confidently while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.27 per hour
