Duties

• Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Educate clients on proper nail maintenance, aftercare, and current trends in nail design
• Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Stay updated on the latest industry techniques such as gel enhancements, nail extensions (including hair extensions if applicable), and trending designs

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification to perform nail services in accordance with state or local regulations
• Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing nail designs
• Experience with various nail care techniques including body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to engage with clients professionally and confidently explain treatments or product benefits
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Prior experience in retail sales or retail math to meet sales targets is advantageous
