Overview

Private family in Miami is seeking an educated, German-speaking career nanny for a long-term live-in position. This role is designed for a polished, developmentally knowledgeable professional who values structure, discretion, and long-term household integration.

The anticipated start timeline is within the next three months; however, the family is prepared to hire immediately for the right candidate.

At the time of transition, the child will be approximately 5–6 months old.

This opportunity is ideal for a well-educated nanny who approaches childcare as a profession. The family is seeking someone who can provide intentional German language immersion, thoughtful developmental guidance, and a calm, structured environment during the child’s formative years.

Private live-in accommodations are provided within the residence, ensuring comfort and appropriate professional boundaries.

Schedule & Expectations

• 5 days per week
• Approximately 50 hours per week
• Live-in with private bedroom and ensuite bath
• Flexible start within three months (earlier start possible)
• International travel required, including extended summer travel (4–8 weeks)

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive infant care
• Consistent German language exposure
• Establishing and maintaining developmentally appropriate routines
• Supporting early cognitive, emotional, and physical milestones
• Maintaining an organized and nurturing nursery environment
• Collaborating professionally with first-time parents
• Traveling with the family as needed

Requirements

• Native or fluent German speaker (required)
• Strong English proficiency
• Formal education in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field preferred
• Significant experience in private households
• Long-term, verifiable references
• Professional, discreet, and emotionally mature
• Open to relocation for a stable, long-term commitment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
