About Us

Hi! We’re Melissa and Mitch, and we’re looking for someone to become a caring, engaged part of our family. We have three little ones who keep life joyful and busy. Our 3-year-old daughter is sweet, imaginative, and loves to sing, care for her dolls, and lend a helping hand whenever she can. Her younger brother, 8 months old, is easygoing and full of smiles. He’s happiest exploring the world (and anything his big sister is holding!). Completing the crew is Murphy, our nearly 4-year-old pup, who’s full of energy, loves chasing toys and balls, and proudly assists with post-meal floor cleanup.

As a family, we value raising kind, capable, and curious children. We focus on teaching personal responsibility, empathy, and respect for our home and the environment. We aim to create a low-toxicity, nurturing space with an emphasis on clean food, outdoor play, and supporting each child’s natural curiosity and early development.

Position Summary

We’re looking for a nanny who will be an engaged, thoughtful caregiver in our home, primarily focused on supporting the growth and development of our two children. This role goes beyond supervision, we’re hoping to find someone who will actively foster learning through play, curiosity, and age-appropriate activities.

Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and guiding activities, managing meals and naps, and helping maintain a consistent routine developed in partnership with us. We value open communication and collaboration to ensure our children’s needs are met in a way that feels supportive and consistent for everyone. We’d also appreciate support with light household tasks related to the children, such as tidying play areas and preparing meals and snacks, ideally incorporating our toddler in simple, hands-on ways to encourage learning and independence.

The right fit will bring patience, a calm and steady presence, strong organizational skills, and a creative, proactive mindset. We value someone who is attentive, responsible, and genuinely enjoys engaging with young children in a meaningful way.
