This quiet, friendly, and down-to-earth family in Tribeca is expecting their second child and is excited to welcome their first full-time nanny.

It’s a collaborative, hands-on role supporting two children on different schedules, working closely alongside an involved mom in a warm, respectful home.
The Schedule:
-
Monday-Friday, 45 hours guaranteed, additional evening sitting within these hours or in addition if desired
-
Typical start time: 8:30 AM-5 or 5:30 PM
-
Occasional evenings and longer days when one parent is traveling (flexibility appreciated)

Partial live-in during the summers and periods of travel

The Child(ren):

New baby girl arriving in June

Toddler boy turning 3 this summer: happy, resilient, active, and outdoorsy.

He attends school part-time across the street and will be full-time in the fall.

He is a great sleeper, eats a healthy, balanced diet, and loves fun, playful caregivers.

He connects easily with engaged caregivers who are excited to be active and involved.
The Family:

Quiet, friendly, and down-to-earth

Mom is mostly home and values teamwork; you’ll tag team care and also handle both children independently at times

Dad sometimes works from home and travels periodically

Newly renovated open-loft-style apartment in an elevator building in the heart of Tribeca
-
Bi-weekly housekeeper handles deep cleaning while you maintain shared spaces
The Role:
-
Collaborative, hands-on care for both children
-
Initial focus on toddler care until baby arrives, then supporting both children
-
Working alongside mom and adapting to shifting needs throughout the day
-
All child-related responsibilities including light meal prep, bottles, pump parts, and purees over time
-
Children’s laundry, organization, tidying shared spaces, and running child-related errands
-
Comfort and confidence caring for both children simultaneously
You:

Easygoing, experienced, adaptable, and communicative
-
Friendly, supportive presence with strong professional boundaries
-
Reads the room well and brings positive energy without overwhelming the space

Proactive, resourceful, steady, and kind
-
Strong judgment and genuine enjoyment of teamwork

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to renew)

Vaccines include Tdap, MMR, COVID (initial), flu shot preferred
-
Driving is a plus for summer months but not required
The Pay & Benefits:

$38-$43 per hour

2 weeks paid time off

Major federal holidays off with pay, some minor holidays included

Weekly OMNY pass

Overnight stipend

Private bedroom and bathroom when traveling
